After purchasing a renovated apartment, the clients felt that, despite its overall quality, the space lacked a sense of personality. Rather than introducing major architectural interventions, we designed three spatial objects that bring identity, character and narrative to the apartment.
All three elements are based on the same principle: a steel frame forms the structure, into which shelves, cabinets and drawers are inserted. Their design draws inspiration from the industrial heritage of the nearby Rog factory, once known for bicycle production. The lightweight construction recalls workshop frames and assembly processes, while the use of different colours gives each piece its own character and reinforces its individuality.
Together, they form a family of objects that establish a dialogue with one another. While serving as functional furniture, they also create spatial dynamics and contribute to the apartment’s distinctive identity. More than utilitarian pieces, they act as spatial protagonists that shape the atmosphere of the home.
